Two of Atlanta’s biggest rappers are using their money and fame to reunite families with the ones they love. Rapper Young Thug and Gunna posted bond for 30 low level crime inmate at the Fulton County jail this weekend.
Coming after the release of their music video for the two hit song “Ski” that has been also the new track people are loving on Tik Tok, the two wanted to do something else that would put a smile on a few more people’s face.
“This is where we are from,” Young Thug told WSB-TV’s Michael Seiden. “We just woke up and went to the jail with the lawyer and, you know, DA’s and the prosecutors, you know, the bonding companies and just got as many people as we can out.”
The rappers looked to release most men and women who were being held on minor offenses, but had to stay in jail because they didn’t have the money to get out.
