Also a place I would DEFINITELY recommend if you get hungry while you’re down there is a place in the Downtown Macon area called Macon Water Ice. On a previous road trip to Macon, my family and I (so I don’t seem like a straight fat boy) spent almost a $100 on food there. From the Jerk Chicken Cheesesteak, to the delicious, crispy wings, to the cheese fries with chicken covered in bourbon sauce. JESUS CHRIST this place was amazing! You can’t miss here.
Last but not least, if you decided to drive about 20 minutes further south, you can always fill up your gas tank and get you some amazing snack and get you a Buc-ee’s experience in as well.
